Conversation - How to Make it in Black America JACK

Brooklyn Gypsies‘Conversation: How to Make it in Black America, Part 1’ is a meditation on the history of race relations and our current state of affairs in these United States of America featuring original poetry by spoken word artists Modesto ‘Flako’ Jimenez and Saroya Marsh interwoven with historic video and audio and set in a visual art landscape, created by Bonafide Rojas. Thank you to all of those who joined us for the recent JACK run and took part in the conversation about where we’ve been, how we got here and where we’re headed. Stay tuned for Part 2!
